Membership
General:
The membership year for the MR2 Club is 1 July to 30 June of each year.
The annual subscription fee for full club membership is $30 per year for the first member, then $10 for each additional member living at the same address.
There is a pro-rata discount system for initial join-up if part way through the year (details below).
A membership card and car sticker are issued with each yearly membership. Further car stickers can be bought for $3 each.
For those who have not been members within the previous 12 months there is a discount in place if joining part-way through the year and the pricing structure is as follows:

Please note there is no pro-rata discount for additional ($10) memberships.
Memberships that have lapsed in the current year are not eligable for the pro rata rate.

Joining the Club
The club can accept electronic payments direct to the Club's account at the National Bank (prefix 06) 0968 001842100.
When making payment online please use your name as a reference. You must also email the Treasurer, Membership Officer and forum Administrator advising them of payment, stating your full name and postal address, phone number and forum ID. Click here to do so.
If you use this method to make a direct deposit into the Club's account, chances are I'll hear from the Treasurer within a day or so and I'll then be able to add you to the Members group on the forum.
If you prefer you may download and print out the membership application form and send an attached cheque via good old fashioned snail mail instead.
Just bear in mind this will involve the post being delivered, an officer of the Club clearing the mail, forwarding your cheque to the Treasurer and your application form to the Membership Officer, the Treasurer doing the banking, the bank clearing the cheque (up to 7 days), the Treasurer confirming that the cheque has cleared then passing that info on to the Membership Officer who will manufacture your membership card, fill in a letter welcoming you to the Club, go post it and eventually let me know too... So the old school method can take a couple of weeks.
Hmmm... I'd just use the online method right here and now... Go on, you know you want to.
As soon as the Membership Officer has been advised by the Treasurer that your funds are in the Club's account you will receive a confirmation email advising your membership number and a membership pack will be sent out.
Be sure to put that sticker on your MR2 and look after that membership card cos you just never know when it might save you a few hundred bucks at the mechanics or something...
If the email does not arrive within 14 days of paying your subs please contact the membership officer.
Joining the Forum
You don't need to be a paid-up member to join the forum, although financial members do get to use parts of the forum not accessible to others. Membership fees help keep this site and forum alive too of course...
