8th Annual New Year Jap/Oldschool Meet -Jan 18th 2015

Date: Sunday 18th Jan 2015, 11am - 2pm.
Place: Massey Uni Albany, Auckland, University Ave, lower tier carpark, outside 'The Ferguson' bar.

Cruise meeting points at Westgate outside pizza hut or greenlane McD's 10am, departing 10.30am ish.

Kumeu hot rod show is the same weekend and 4'n'rotor nats the following weekend.

No booze, burnouts or stupids!

What's the latest year of manufacture to be eligible please?

not critical. loosely based on pre 90's jap/euro/unique but any mr2/supra/gt4 etc (future classic/performance) very welcome.
come anyway for a geez. spectators welcome. plenty parking.
just don't be the guy that parks his new car in amongst the 70's/80's security will hopefully cone off the area and if im organised (never happens) i'll get there earlier to direct cars in.

if you guys are interested in doing a club meet ill get you to all park together for coolness. one year we had a JZX meet which took half of the next tier. worked out well.

Last time i went there were plenty of newer cars including the usual skyline/WRX blockheads feeling left out. Since i am in summer school i will most probably be there, Will park in the lower car park, may not be there as i have classes.

Went to this today only 18 cars there and no MR2 s .A few celicas, GTOs,couple of nissans a
Subaru SVX and even 2 old escorts.

Such a shame, oldschool crew are pretty cool (bought my crown off a mate that was a big contributoring member)

Id like to tee up some more AW boys to their meets
Be cool to get the AW's out with some 80's celica/supra and the likes, even some engine swopped ke25's and get that sporty 70-80's TEQ flavour flowing

4nRotors was the following weekend
I'll keep doing the 'New Year' meet on the 3rd Sunday of January.
Counted at least 45cars in attendance. the smallest meet we've had so far. but not bad considering i didn't promote it much at all! got to hang round for more than an hour tho as people tend to come and go.
