Hi all, have been a huge fan of MR's for years and finally in a position to get one! I'm based in Welly and looking to buy an SW20 in Christchurch. Can anyone recommend a reputable garage I could contact to do a pre-purchase inspection? Looking for one with MR2 expertise to know what to look for (particularly those infamous rust areas). My initial thought was a Toyota dealership but grateful for suggestions.
Have done plenty of research but any tips on buying MR2s also appreciated. Figured this would also be a great thread for those in Christchurch to share good MR2 garages!

Infamous rust areas? NZ cars don't rust anywhere near like what the USA or UK cars do. We don't salt our roads so unless the car has been crash damaged they don't rust.

hi my recomendation would be yaldhurst motors as gareth has had quite a bit to do with my mr2.
