Hi all,
I've been slowly chipping away at a 1mz-fe swap for my 1992 sw20 the last couple of weeks. I figured in the beginning that I would just go with Paul woods for the engine mount and wiring harness conversion. However, I figured I might as well ask here if anyone knows somewhere local (in NZ/AUS) that is knowledgeable in the v6 swaps and would be able to fab up a mount or a place that could do the wiring harness for me cheaper than having to source it from the UK with shipping/conversion rates and with how long it takes to ship.
Would be extremely helpful
Thanks in advance.

Hi, have a chat with Shaun (Mrman) for information. He might be able to help you, I think he bought some of the conversion kit from Paul Woods. Good luck with the build

Hi, sorry, I understand that Paul Woods makes quality products and I've been making contact back and forth with him. I'm just wondering if there is a company or an individual locally (nz or aus) that is able to do the wiring harness and engine mount to save on shipping and conversion rates. Otherwise I'm looking at easily a grand just for the engine mount and wiring harness.

There are no specialist V6 shops here. You ask an auto electrician to do the work and it will be way more than $1000 because they need to figure it all out from nothing. Then you have to buy/make an engine mount. So you are better off getting it done by Paul or Marc.
Or, you do the research and do it yourself for way way less money. It might take you longer though.

$1000 sounds like a bargain for that kind of work, no one ever said an engine conversion would be cheap!
