Pre-Cats
I am looking at swapping out my exhaust manifold in order to get rid of the pre cats however the one I'm looking at has a high flow cat pipe ( https://www.monkeywrenchracing.com/prod ... -cat-pipe/ ) and I'm wondering if that legal here in NZ or whether I'll have to get one with a normal cat pipe which is significantly more.

Have you tried just gutting them?
Much cheaper.
High flow cat should be fine though.

If your car was first registered after 1st May 2010 in NZ, you will need a catalytic converter of some kind. It's a WOF requirement. Wether that would get picked up is another story.
If your car was imported and registered before 1st May 2010, go nuts.
