Ok its time for new components.
I was going to go for the infinity 6.1 perfect comp set but they are out of stock for a month, am looking for around 130 wrms, those where 100 wrms with credibility to go with it, now i,m looking around seeing other stuff maybe better suited.
Whats the soundstream stuff like? Kicker?.
do i wait for the infintys?.
I like deep mid base but not bright tweeters,
Any suggestions from experience around the $400 mark?.
thx

Pioneer TS-C171's are a pretty decent speaker for the coin. Heard the next model down in the series and was very impressed.
I assume you're getting the Infinitys for about the $400 mark? In which case thats a pretty sweet deal, and probably worth holding out for

Thx for that i was keen to go with pioneer as am impressed with the sub i and head deck i am running but those ones and most of the pioneer ones are a low wrms, those particular ones only 50w max 200w
infinitys 100 wrms and 400w max
my amp is pushing 130 watts per channel so i am trying to be as close to that as i can.

Re: new speakers
Not sure if you've purchased them or not yet, but I've gone for the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1's, the tweeters are a little bright, but just tone it down to -4dB and they sing!
