Have a look at these links should make Mk1 brakes clear to you.
just rember calipers are the same for both 84 and 87 year cars THE mounting brackets are diffrent as the Disc size /diameter is larger
DO not guess the with of a disc measure it there is a minimum with size cast into the disc .

Boosted cars are like hot women.
A little edgy, every guy wants one,
some guys can't handle them,
and if you throw a little alcohol in them they'll rock your world.

Also, warped rotors are usually the result of uneven torque on the wheel nuts. Important to do each wheel nut up to the right torque. 100 Nm for an AW.

Great in theory Charlie, But not everyone has a torque wrench.
(I use 105Nm, but i'm also not adverse to my car sitting on a hoist for a while... )

Coincidentally I just bought a torque wrench today! But previously I torqued them all up at my old flat with a friend’s tools so I doubt it was that. I think the rotors were about as warped when I got them as they are now, which is to say not much at all but enough that I want to replace them. I wanted to get some new performance pads in there anyway so it’s a good excuse for a replacement of the rotors
