While I still have some issues with the gear selection occasionally (which I believe are cable related) I initially had problems which appear to have been related to the clutch engagement height.
Great ingenuity - i did come across this, solved with an extended pushrod and it seems fine to me now. Love the fix though
I broke a spring keeper when I was sold a cheap POS clutch plate. Possibility?
Could very much be this - When I bought my engine in 2020 it came with a clutch that we didn't know what brand it is, just that it had done <5000kms, so I chucked it in. I have a feeling it's something like this. What did you experience when it was bad?

Put the single port in using the pushrod TCS supplies. Then started having issues - Munching the bleed nipple didn't help. But no, I installed the extended rod only after I swapped the slave. I had to get it from someone local.

That would mean the clutch is not a stock unit or rated at stock pressure.
I'm going to get one made just in case but then I have a standard clutch so may not even need it.
