Looking excellent & numbers as nice as well.
What's the plan for the screamer pipe?

No plan
It's legal being behind the cabin, and I do have a slip on muffler for it
But I also have a tune for wof time where it seals boost map at 7psi so it doesn't open

So will it simply poke straight out of the engine lid?
I don’t imagine noise will be an issue but might get a bit of flamage!

Yes there was a guy years ago with an upgraded CT26 that had boost creep like they all do that fitted an external waste gate and just vented it vertically though a hole in the engine lid. It lit up on boost.

Yep, tuner said it was spitting flames on the dyno
The muffler did induce some boost creep though so I don't run it

And the noise could be a novelty that wears with age I suppose, but at the moment I love it
More concerned about track noise limits

Just a photo dump of the work going down at the minute
Hopefully get in booth over xmas to paint

On the look out for a passenger side engine inspection panel if anyone has one available
And a few interior things like cente vents, glove box etc
Cheers to Tony for the later model side trims

Still working on my fender vents, they're just a prototype
Filled holes from spoiler
Made one for the screamer

Ttop seals will need some sort of rejuvenation
The cowl and centre garnish have come out really good

Still lots to do

Goal is to make it down to the hard park in wellys end of January with a somewhat respectable looking car

Fine scotchbrite with hot water and dish soap
Blew it dry with air gun
Meguires long life tyre shine applied thick with a toothbrush
Heated it dry with a blowtorch
Then buffed all the haze off with a rag and air gun

Worked really well, and soaked into the plastic good. Looks greasy but doesn't feel like it. Feels like a freshly waxed paint

That's quite an intense process but good results.

I used CarPro DLUX on mine which is a ceramic coating but I didn't apply it properly so it did some odd things. Seems to have lasted well for the majority of it since I did it 5 years ago but your method makes it look really good! Hopefully it lasts well, these parts are all faded or people paint them to try fix it. That's not a good way to fix it.
