I hate gas struts ever since I got squashed inside a Holden Commodore's bonnet... :lol: :lol: They do look good and useful, and probably more reliable than a GM's gas strut

Yea I think being new is better, plus a commodore bonnet is about 4 times heavier than a MR2 one

I will be honest Phill. I didn't like the orange ones, I thought they look too dated for me. The clear ones are more modern. But everyone has there own opinions.
Plus, the orange ones are very brittle. I want to repair the bumper but don't like my chances of not breaking the orange ones.

I think a lot of people don't like the orange ones. I'm just a bit different :twisted:
I'd like to get some of the orange ones with the clear park light from the NZ, AU, UK and Euro cars.

I know the ones your talking about. I'm looking at getting some smoky side indicators for mine, that way it looks like the black strip goes all way down the side.
