AW11 4AGZE ECU Pin-out Details
Does anyone have the pin-out details for the JDM AW11 4AGZE ECU? All the info I can find online is only for the USDM AW11 which appears to be quite different...

If you have the ECU you can open it up and read what is printed on the circuit board.

I opened it up this morning and unfortunately there is no writing on the PCB, on either side!

Normally they do at the plug pins.mickyd wrote:I opened it up this morning and unfortunately there is no writing on the PCB, on either side!
See here for what I mean. I do know some ECUs don't have it but I thought 80s and 90s stuff mostly did.

Well that's just annoying.
Do you have the wiring that plugs into the ECU? Wire colours can sometimes help figure out the important ones.
Just curious, what do you need the pinout for?

Re: AW11 4AGZE ECU Pin-out Details
Probably looking to hook up that '86 style supercharger...
Details of the pinout and a LOT more are available here: http://mr2.org.nz/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12549
But because I like where you're going with your AW and it's interesting, here are the details. Mind you, $30 for membership for ever and access to info like that isn't a bad deal eh Mike?
Nearly pinched my login too didn't ya eh? But your real name does kinda explain it.

Re: AW11 4AGZE ECU Pin-out Details
How does that one match up to the JDM car? It looks to be USDM as it has Calif to the right of the pin out diagram for emissions.

Re: AW11 4AGZE ECU Pin-out Details
I'd have thought that refers to extra stuff if it's a US ECU Phill?

Re: AW11 4AGZE ECU Pin-out Details
You might well be correct Charlie. I'm just going off experience from the USDM vs JDM SW20. And even the JDM SW20 has different pin outs for different years and engine types. Toyota do the same thing throughout the 80s and 90s with ECUs so I wouldn't take that pin out as perfectly accurate. Most will be correct but I'm sure some will be different. But then my lack of AW11 experience means I can easily be very wrong.mickeyduck wrote:I'd have thought that refers to extra stuff if it's a US ECU Phill?
