GDII's 1990 G-Limited

New oil pressure light switch. Part number 83530-60020. Why, because shiny! That's about it really. Didn't cost a whole lot either.

ECU coolant temperature sensor washer. Part number 90430-12005.

New Daihatsu clamps for the Wastegate to turbine housing hose. Part number 96132-41100. Daihatsu adds -000 to the end of the part number.

A new fuel filler hose. Part number 77213-32010.
The old one is okay I guess but super hard. New is good.

Cleaning the oil cooler/warmer in an ultrasonic bath with some simple green. Thanks to my brother for doing this for me. It also managed to get the hardened split O ring out of the groove. It was rock hard and I didn't want to scrape it out as it was very stuck. I still have some on the block but that's easy to remove.

Then I realised they are all damaged so I'll get new ones....

These are the valve cover bolts. 2 lengths. Short for the outside and long for the middle.
Short part number is 91513-K0625
Long part number is 90105-06242

Yes you are right. I didn't do the damaging here. It was there before I got the engine.

Time to clean up this crusty crank position sensor. Part number 90919-05034 if you wanted a new one.

The PCV valve was a little oily. It still operates correctly so not replacing it. Part number 12204-88480 for the valve and 12236-88580 for the cover but it's discontinued so no longer available new.

And of course I still have the cover cap for it!

Crusty fuel rail parts cleaned up. The fuel pulse damper will get restored properly as I still want to use it. Most GEN4 3SGTE swaps do away with this but if Toyota put it in then it must do something useful. As each injector opens and closes it sends pressure waves through the fuel rail so this helps reduce the pressure difference and dampen out the pulses. I'll use a banjo fitting on some new fuel hose to make it work instead of threading an M12x1.25 to AN adapter in the end of the rail.

Coils for the GEN4 3SGTE. These are discontinued so the new part looks a bit different. More like the GEN5 3SGTE.

The cam belt pulley on the crank. The GEN4 3SGTE has teeth on it for the crank position sensor. It wasn't too dirty, but it gets a clean anyway.

Cleaning up the crusty oil left over on the cam position sensor with a small wire wheel on a drill.

These are the turbo oil feed and drain fittings. The bolts still need a better clean up but I've got other things planned for that.
