Post by Trob »

Hi I’m [youtube-embed][/youtube-embed]after a speedsensor for an mr2 turbo I have the actual sensor that goes in the gear box but I don’t have the cable adapter? That adapts it to the plug.

Thanks Tom

Hey Tom, it sounds like you might be using a 1989-1991 gearbox on a 1992+ Chassis?

If that's the case, you'll need to build your own hybrid adapter, using an electrical and mechanical sender.

That might be the case but more likely by plug he means the screw on end of mechanical cable. I could be wrong, if so then it's better to get a full electronic unit rather than make something up from random parts. We all know that doesn't end well Olaf.
