You're not gonna tell me a KE70 was running rings around Chris Snook's AW with its humungously wide sticky feet, are you Phill...???
Thanks for the pics 'n' stuff Jim.
So was that 7 SW's and 2 AW's then, judging by your pics? How many Toymotas would there have been all up do you reckon mate?

There was at least 2 other SW20s not in the photos my KICRS2 being one of them. I would guess there to be around 80 Toyotas but I would be happy to be corrected

Chris AW11 had some issues with a rear hub or wheel bearing wobble. He left it with me to help sort out as Playweek starts at Teratonga this Friday.
I don’t think many had good runs on the track. Morning sessions allowed certain portions of track behind safety car and afternoon had whole track. Not many entries given the cost plus new safety standards imposed (Hans device, compatible helmet, fire proof suit with cotton undies , etc). Becoming a rich mans gsme.

That is correct as Chris has cage, etc. Most runners in afternoon session were in this class, otherwise I believe there was speed & passing restrictions.
One of the additional reccomendations with those in cages is to install a bar behind seats to lower the angle of harness to shoulders. Others may take note of this as like the previous safety requirements it will become standard.

So in the morning they let cars without cages do partial track, behind a pace car... and in the afternoon they let cars with cages do whole track unimpeded? Is that the guts of it?
Cos if that's where it's heading it'll be a good way to kill Toyotafest...!

From what I seen it was part track for all cars in the morning and full track for all cars in the afternoon.
All track time had a pace car

It was the TRS GR Supra pace car. My mate in his Corolla was keeping with it in the corners but not in the straights. Obviously an NA blacktop 4AGE vs a BMW turbocharged B58 is no match. The other GR Supra were struggling to stay with him so it didn't seem to slow things down.
