Hey all
I have a fusion bass controller which has an 6P6C cord, and then I have a fusion amp fp-402 which has a connector for a bass controller, except on the amp its for a 4P4C. What can I do? Not only are their two extra conductors over the 4 piece, it doesn't fit. So what are my options? Or if I was unable to find a converter and rewired it myself, what 2 conductor colours would I leave out, and what positions should I place each colour? Cheers

Sorry you have the incorrect controller. The FP-402 amp is very old and parts are no longer available for them. I would not try to rewire unless you can replicate the connections at the amp plug end. They are wired differently as in positions which are not related to the colour of the wire. The amp is 6-8 years old and I do not know what controller you have.

That's what fusion said. I have found a 4p4c connector from an old phone, is it going to be worth the while rewiring it? Considering I then have to leave 2 conductors out, and by the looks of that, I can't even guess on colours.
