Keeping odometers correct when swapping clusters - SW electric speedo

Post by TVIS »

Hey team, does anyone know how to swap or change odometer readings for an electric speedo sw20? Thinking of changing clusters, however the other one's odometer is around 100k over the mileage of the car. Is there a way of changing the odo readout to be accurate without touching the needles etc?

I've only tweaked a mechanical speedo to suit my mileage when I went from a JDM 180 to an NZDM 260. In no way would I try cheat the system with changing it. The electronic Speedo is a bit different so I don't know how to change that one.

Yeah same deal here, except electric rather than mechanical speedo. Seems like it may be a no go though if cant change the odometer to the right amount
