I've recently rewired in the old OEM radio and got that functioning again. However, when I adjust the fader to full front and then full back, the front speakers are probably 3x as loud as the rears. I know the fronts are larger and better quality, but is the difference supposed to be that large? Is that normal?
Cheers

You are looking at a 2" vs a 5.25" speaker. You won't get the same volume from such a small tweeter type speaker.

Throw some 4in 2-3way speakers in the back and it will be sweet

Are the rear speakers running off the factory amplifier?

I believe all four speakers run off factory amp. If you want better sound and easier wiring, you will need to ditch the factory amp.

thanks for the replies!
Yes, they're running off the stock amp. I'm not too fussed with the low sound quality. I've just re-wired the stock system back into my car and just wanted to make sure things were running as they should be.
