late reply but my aw has got the factory sub in it it lives under the drivers seat and had a 4 wire (from memory) plug.
never had it going as its not connected to current head unit but presume its only like 20-30w.

i can post photos if you would like
when one isn't enough buy 10

yeah man, post some pics up, would be interesting to see. im assuming late facelift?
