Remove intercooler shroud?

Post by Millhouse1 »

Just a random question guys .. I have been thinking of removing the plastic shroud/cover that sits on top of the AW SC's intercooler, to slightly improve air flow. Can you think of any reason to leave it intact? It doesn't seem to do anything apart from maybe helping stop some debris from clogging the IC fins? I have noticed in many shots of other AW's on the internet that very few people have this fitted. Would it maybe help cooling ever so slightly?

It is mostly used just to prevent debris from damaging the fins. Other than that it's just an appearance thing if you want to remove it or not.
