Recommendations: mechanic for AW11

Post by dbkiwi »

Hey :)

I recently bought a nice AW11 and I'd like to treat it to a mechanic that knows what he/she's doing on 80s Toyota's rather than just taking it to any old place.

Any recommendations? Near to Albany or Auckland CBD would be ideal. Would anyone recommend taking to Toyota itself?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Dylan

I'd never recommend taking an old Toyota to any Toyota dealer. They are big dealerships, with big overheads which mean big bills.

Spargs in Glenfield comes recommended.

D.I.Y. Full Toyota workshop manuals in the members' section of the forum for download. Likely found elsewhere too... And lots of good advice here thanks to the good folk in our club. Just my 5 cents'...
