How far can a vacuum line travel

Post by 4CylinderSpecial »

Hey guys, got my new EBC (Gizzmo V4 - pretty neat thing) and it requires a vacuum source on the unit itself. Will running a vacuum line from manifold to around the radio section of the dash where it'll be mounted have any effect on the accuracy of the unit? Will running smaller diameter vacuum line help with this?

Cheers

3mm is normal and running it from the manifold to the dash is fine. It's quite common in these cars for mechanical gauges to do this.

Awesome, thanks for that Phil. Assumed it was fine but always good to double check!
