Help! Need a left rear quarter panel.

Post by kilgh »

I scraped my left rear quarter panel badly enough it need replacing. My local panel beater refuses to use a second hand part (it's an insurance job) so what can I do?

Being an insurance job I guess money isn't the concern but finding a new one...

I doubt they have new ones anymore.

If you could it wouldn't be just a small part, it's massive and would involve a lot of work to replace unless you cut out the part you needed from the new part to match the damage on the car.

That’s basically what they do which is why getting decent second hand part is acceptable. Lots of work and craftsmanship involved getting it to look perfect.
