Photos of fuse box plugs request 1992-1993 G-Limited

Post by GDII »

I'm trying to find some information from a 92-93 JDM G-Limited.

Can I please get 2 photos of the plug with wire colours as per the photos below. And then advise me which 2 wires are for the air box Air temp sensor.

This plug is called EA3 in USDM wiring diagrams or EG2 in the JDM diagrams. This is from my 89-91 JDM G-Limited as an example.

I suspect that the 2 wires I am looking for are pin 14 and 15. 14 being Brown and 15 being Yellow which are located in the middle of image 2 between the Black w/White and Red w/Black wires. If this plug is unplugged and a multimeter is set to beep/continuity mode then the corresponding pins in the fuse box and the temp sensor plug itself from the air box are tested it will show which pins are connected to the sensor. I don't currently have access to a 92-93 G-Limited so require some help please.

Ok never mind. I got Olaf to check his car and I can confirm that it is pin 14 and 15 as per the photos of the 1990 G-Limited if anyone for some reason cares.

If I lose my data on this. I will look to buy a 92-93 JDM wiring diagram for the MR2 and probably the 94-99 3SGTE, 94-97 3SGE and the 98-99 3SGE too. Although I could create my own for the GEN3 3SGTE.

You might need it for your car. It's probably not hooked up on your car anyway.

I don't have an airbox ATM. It's a filter straight on turbo inlet. I have a sensor and plug I should put in the right place once I have an intake pipe

It seems many do not use this sensor. I don't know what the ECU uses it for as the intake manifold has one but if Toyota put it in then I want to use it by drilling a hole in the intake pipe and fitting the rubber grommet and sensor.
