Re: Turbo flutter problem! No Stu-tu-tu!!
So not sure if this helps.... But I just finished my gen2 3SGTE swap and took it for a drive. Stock apart from intake extension to the side scoop and exhaust/cat delete. Still has a MAF. I get turbo flutter noises at low boost but not at high, as I guess the volume of air escaping is far higher. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

For those who don' know the flutter sound is the air separating from the compressor wheel blades as it exits the turbo the wrong way. That's the stall people talk about, not actually stopping the turbo from spinning. Stall, like an airplane wing, not an engine stopping.

OMG does that mean when planes approaches it's limits on the angle of attack and the wing stalls, the wings will snap off? :OGDII wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 6:16 pmFor those who don' know the flutter sound is the air separating from the compressor wheel blades as it exits the turbo the wrong way.
