Air conditioning

Post by Crawls »

Hey guys, I want to get the AC going in my car. But I don't know where to start.

How do I know if the mag clutch engages?

What parts do I need to replace for r134a??

You need to replace drier, fill valve, all seals in all fittings, drain compressor oil and replace it with new compatible oil for R134 AND replace whatever is leaking- evaporator, condenser are most common.

Have you had a diagnostic done?

Na no diagnostic. I know that it doesn't go. But I can't tell if compressor is even engaging or not. But I am prepared to replace whatever I need to.

If there is anything not right the mag clutch won't engage. Low or high pressure.
