Here's the Dyno Report....

When the dyno tune as done, they put a fan in front of the radiator, and a fan in front of the intercooler.
I now get told afterwards that the ambient temperature isn't an issue.......when originally he told me it was.......he's now saying that the intercooler is too small.
But it's an aftermarket intercooler, not a factory one.

I haven't had it out with this guy cos he's actually an arse to deal with & I've squirted enough dollars his way already. Left a sour taste in mouth. Tried negotiation but he's non comprehendo. Sadly, there had originally been no other options to go to; he was recommended...

Cheers for your input folks; appreciate this platform to try to find my way thru all the bullshit I was fed ha.

That’s unfortunate you have had such a poor experience with a professional Tuner. Do you happen to have a graph of the AFR and possibly boost pressure to go along with power curves.?

More so than the max boost achieved its useful to see when it come on and at what rate. Having this information can point to possible issues with exhaust, wastegate and even drop off in performance from multiple runs. Same goes for AFR and IAT as they are good indicators on engine performance or lack there of. Having an aftermarket EMS allows this information to be gathered, displayed and routinely analysed.

You should have the capabilities to do quick road run and record real world data rather than sitting on an expensive dyno. This alone would allow you to see if you have an exceptionally hot engine or not during boost run.

For comparison This here was the dyno results of my 2 at a dyno with no tuning done at all. 192.5wkw and 328.7wtq. The car has an ATS racing CT21 Turbo, 3inch stainless intake, 2.5in intercooler pipes and aftermarket sidemount intercooler, along with a full 3inch decat exhaust system, completely stock fuel system, and ecu. During these runs the car was running about 17-18psi boost

Go see the team at NZ EFI on Mobray Street and see if they can help.

I remember MR2SIK made 291rwhp (217rwkw) there on a built gen3 engine with a stock ct20b @ 1 bar boost on 95 octane fuel back in the day before Nelson even got 98.
