Max Camber on stock SW suspension

Post by GlanzaAtHeart »

Hey team,

I was looking into alignment specifications, and am curious - What's the max camber (front and rear) you can run on a SW stock suspension?

Would be 17x8 ET35, 17x9 ET38 (15mm bolt on spacer making it ET23) lowered on Eibach springs.

With either 12.4mm Toyota crash bolts or 15mm Nolathane bolts, I was wondering if I can grab 1-2 degrees in the front and around 2-3 degrees in the rear?

Would this be possible on the stock suspension?

Can't find too much information online or any of the forums so thought I'd reach out here hoping that someone has some experience. Cheers team

I run 1.5 front and 1.5 and 2.5 rear with stock bolts. That's max I can get but with bolts you will get about 2 more out of it. If you run 2 bolts per corner maybe even more?

Thanks for that - Now I forgot to mention i'm talking about negative camber, so I presume you're talking about that too?

How does your fronts go about clearing the front spring perch? With more negative camber I presume the clearance gets tighter and tighter.

I'm suprised you get that much camber on the oem 15mm crash bolts. I'll try some 12.4mm crash bolts on the top slot on each corner, and see how I go, and some more if need be.

Cheers

Ha! Positive camber! That should never be a thing.
I currently have about 8mm clearance on the front with 17x8+37. Rears are 30mm with 17x9+29.
When I say OEM I mean OEM full size non crash bolts.

Haha true.

I'll grab some 12.4mm crash bolts for the rear and try it out. There are some certain forum members here that have harassed me enough that now I want to lower my car some more and add some camber.

Will keep the thread updated in a couple weeks when I fix my shock issue and install crash bolts and get a new alignment

Rear subframe alignment messes with camber too and in turn toe. Hence why mine is 1.5 and 2.5.
