Replacing old shocks - parts list

Hello all,

I am planning to replace my old struts on my 91 MR2. The shock absorbers I have ordered come assembled as above in the boxed off areas in the parts diagram (458x0). I have new top hats coming as well for the rear. Last year I had my mechanic put in some lowering springs from Cobra; I asked him to replace everything that was showing signs of wear. I think they replaced a ball joint and the top hats in the front.
Is there anything recommended to replace or add in while doing this swap? Looking for advice or reassurance that I'm not missing something obvious that would leave me waiting for parts with my car in pieces.

For the front if they haven't been replaced, the bearing dust cover 48680D between the top had and top spring perch should be.
Dust boots maybe. The OEM unit combines the bump stop and dust cover but aftermarket is bump stop and then a separate dust boot.

I'll definately be going with oem if available: so I'm looking at 48680D x2, 48341 x2, 48331 x2.
Would I also need 48753 and 48750B?

I didn't think to ask earlier; but are the later model components better? I remember reading somewhere that the facelift bump stops had more material than earlier model cars. The bearing dust cover appears to also have a facelift version also. Does this have anything to do with the rebuildable type shocks versus the bilstein blacks from Toyota?

48753 is just a plastic cap. You should still have them. It's part of the car body rather than shock assembly.
48750B should still be on the shocks. It's just a metal crush tube.

If you are running stock springs the bump stops don't really matter. Unless you are hitting massive holes and jumping the car.
That dust cover would be sized to suit the top hat rather than the rebuildable vs sealed units. It doesn't contact the shock, it is sandwiched between the top hat and top spring perch/cap.
