• Rare colours include 999 an unknown colour code found on only 3 VINs and 3L1 found on 92 VINs during production

• 904 VINs did not contain any paintcode data and therefore listed as Unknown

I can't verify any of this information but it's cool to take a look at something that could be true.

I find it interesting that there are more hard tops than T-Tops.

Haha yeah especially as everyone wants hardtop manuals whereas an auto T-Top is a rarer beast. I don't mind the auto for a long drive as it sits at much lowers revs.

Seeing this prompted me to start a spreadsheet of the colours, transmission, roof style and frame numbers for my SW20s. What has my life become................?

According to MR2 Wiki there were 130,732 SW20s produced worldwide.

That MR2 wiki is so bad.... So many facts are not true and so much is born from the USA market so they don't get things right for the rest of the world.

Had a good read of the info on the front page - really great stuff (I normally just use the forum so hadn't really looked at the front page!). I need to take a look at the back of my Rev 1 and 2 to see the difference between the single/double line rear garnish - I didn't know there was a difference. Hopefully I've put the right one on my 91 GT.

I wonder if we are at the stage where it would be feasible to have a register of all MR2s cars in NZ? I doubt many more will be imported the way the prices are rising so the numbers will never increase very much. It would be interesting to see what models/variations/colours/body?etc we have across the 3 models. Have 3 separate streams and sort by Chassis number - lowest to highest. Members could add their own cars and even cars that are just spotted out there in the wild.

That's a JDM thing only. The rest of the world kept the REV1 garnish until they changed to the Kouki setup.
