Thanks for the advice. I don't really have anything suitable so I ordered the genuine walbro one- "Walbro 122-3074 Fuel Pump Sleeve". Not something I want to drop the tank for to install later on if the noise is annoying.

Just so you know the heater pipes don't need to be removed when dropping tank. By disconnecting from brackets they can be pushed out of the way.
Do you mean radiator pipes? Heater pipes are above the tank.
