Brake Pads, recommandation?

Post by goufcustom »

Hello guys,

I'm planning to replace brake pads as soon as weather turns up nice. (No garage, so I gotta do at driveway)

Do you have any recommandation brand and place to buy? How much roughly I'm looking at?

Should I just get from Toyota OEM parts?

Thanks for help!!

I'm off to Queensland for the MR2 Nats next week, I have a catchup with the guys at QFM to ask about a deal on Spyder pads. If you still want some, i'll try and get you a good price on em ;)

I need to do mine in the next few months.
Anyone got an idea where to find these? Asked Repco and Supercheap, they both had only one set in stock at other stores and wanted about $90 a pair.

Genuine Toyota pads are line priced and about $30 a pair cheaper.

Price sounds ok, are they any good?

BTW: Do I need to have a torque driver for it?
