Seagull's 1994 G-Limited.
This is my 1994 MR2 G-Limited, it has some club history and it has a few changes from standard so I feel like posting a build thread for it.
I reckon this pic has some editing (i didn't take it) which makes the car look better than it really does, but what the hell
Current modifications/restorations:
- Respray in Super White II
- BEAMS engine swap
- Advanti Speed wheels
I intend to do more things to it as time/funds allow, but most of my cash seems to be going to repairs/maintenance currently, so updates may be limited.

Thanks to the terrible weather this weekend I can't do much, so here's a picture of the beams engine in the car.

Break in the rain = more pictures.
Alpine speakers installed.
[/URL]
The rough looking material behind the speaker is 'fake leather' from the plactic box, which cover the top half of the speaker magnet to prevent water from dripping down and sitting in the cone.

Re: Seagull's 1994 G-Limited.
Custom frunk amplifier install.
I got the idea from an online guide - plus the frunk is the only place for a huge amp like mine!
Made from 12 mill MDF, painted and then the amp bolted on top.
Unfortunately the wire and control inputs on the amp are on the bottom, so for ease of use I decided to mount it upside-down.

Re: Seagull's 1994 G-Limited.
I have a 2 metre roll of the stuff, so perhaps a bit more to come! But it's not as easy as it looks though.
I'm hoping to do the plastic surround of the gearshift and maybe even the centre console if I get really ambitious.
A cheap $25 heat gun is a big help in getting the material to flex.

Re: Seagull's 1994 G-Limited.
I had a 3x1.5m roll. It's all over the outside of my car. The centre console bits shouldn't be too hard to do. Just practice and you'll get it right. I've done the door mirrors and front light surrounds, that wasn't easy. I just borrow the missus hair dryer.

Re: Seagull's 1994 G-Limited.
Time to update this I suppose.
New engine is in - A Gen 3 turbo + gearbox. Not pretty but it does the job!
Added a couple of cosmetic touches to go along with it - Turbo spec engine lid
Factory spec turbo decals - these were particularly satisfying to fit, just like finishing a model kit car, only bigger
And (near) new wheels. - Enkei Rpf-1s. with Bridgestone tyres. smaller fronts give great turn in and response, if not exactly 'stance'
