yea cars running better since i swaped the injectors. but time to time it stutters and bogs down.

Possibly a vacuum leak? Check for split hoses. Engines with AFM's don't really like vacuum leaks.

yea thats the plan. got to do a radiator and pipes flush. the water is incerdably rusty.

well found out the s/c aw needs quite a bit of work. first time giving it a good hoon. around ruapuna found that it would do 2 laps. then it would start hesatating and then die. would not restart till about 10 min later. would start with out any trouble. been pointed out that it could be the ignitor to close to the exuast, after market fuel pump on its way out. (makes one hell of a racket when runing), also temp sensor and ecu not reading idle through dignostic test. plus the alternator regulator is stuffed so wile going around the track its spat acid all around the boot.

finally got the wiring, fueses and switches in for the fans on the n/a. put the switches in were the fog light switch and coins sit





still got to get tyires and wheel alighnment for sw and bucket seat rails for aw and sw

so past few months havnt had much chance to work on my cars. but i did end up buying a new frount bumper to go on my sw. needs a few repairs to fix it up properly. as well as finally putting some re003 on my new rims.



also sent my s/c aw11 away to my macanic. to see if he can find the problem on why it will run. then stall after its warm and cant start it till around 10 min later.
then about a week ago my blacktop aw decided to snap the incide cv housing will going up the hills to akaroa. luckly got it back down and parents could borrow simons car trailor.



got it fixed within the next week thanks to simon with his back yard full of mr2 parts. then got hold of mate and went for a drive to top of sumit rd looking over littleton harbour.

past few weeks have finnaly found time to do some work on the s/c aw11. got some modefied rails off wedge for drivers and pasengers bucket seats. have only got the drivers in at moment. have also riped out the carpets to lighten up the car.


have moved the fuel pump off the fire wall to crate less noise. now have a fuel leak problem at presuerised side of fuel filter.


have found the spark lead from coil to distibutor had been chewed up by the engine bay fan. might have been posible cause for problems from track. also got new alternator with internal reulator to fix from over charging battery.


have found a alright condion clear plastic toyota peice for over the rear window. just need to repair few small cracks. so have the old one off and new one reapy to go on once repaired. would any one have the other plastic peice to go into the side scres plus the screws to go with it.






had a look for any holes or cracks in exuast to see why was so loud. well found all this plus the axle sits on top of the exuast.

haha. no idea. beleve its from previous owner. was orignaly a twin charge set up. But never ran properly. so he put back to supercharger. that will be my next thing to do once i save up some money.

Ouch, CV joint certainly needs a little TLC. These are not pretty when they blow apart.

no there not. have had a few go on me while 4wding. they go every were and in small bits

been a while since iv updated this. thought id put up what iv done over last few weeks.
brought some trumpits for the 4age blacktop still need to buy some sock filters to use wile driving around town. was well worth doing for the noise and for more rev happy motor




also had brought the facelift tail lights to replace the other ones. as well as a supercharged engine lid to replace the na one.



brought a drivers frount guard to replace damaged one on na. so grabed the one off my s/c and put it on my n/a. put the one i brought on the s/c since it needs a paint job at sompoint.




while removing the frount drivers guard on the n/a i found some rust that needed to be looked at. so i took off the frount bumper to get more room. while there i also took out the a/c radiator and pipes to get more airflow through radiator.




also got some new 15x7 rims for aw and finaly got some 195/50/15 re003 tyires and an alignment.



for the s/c aw11 the coilovers have finaly arived after 5 months. they are built by mrp. as well as finaly getting a frount strut brase for it.

Awesome update. So many new parts and mods. The AW looks great with the new wheels and those MRP coilovers should be good.

Keen to see what the MRP coilovers feel like once you have it all together and running well if it isn't already.
Not saying that I'm unahappy with the BC's, but always good to see others and feel how they handle.
Would be great with open trumpets!!

yea the s/c still needs alot of work done to get it running properly. stiil runs for shor peroid of time then stops then will startup again 10 min later. still need to find out why the n/a bogs down in power at low rpm

just brought a sc14 set up for the sc aw11
includes sc14, water to air intercooler, modifed loom for moved throtle body and battery, brackets to mount sc and intercooler, water pump, throtle body and all piping.
plan is to do a boot mount intercooler. dont know wether to bring air from top out bottom or bottom to top. then was thinking of upping the boost. does anyone know if you can use the sc12 overboost pully for sc14?
