Re: 89 S/C This is Defiantly a Project!
Very late reply. Deductions was massive excess as i had restricted at the time, plus premiums for the rest of the year, which together totaled well over $2000. As well as this, another $600 to buy the wreck back and a towing fee for just getting the car from the yard; not even towing it anywhere, just putting it out the front gate, they wouldn't even let me push it. they were charging a ridiculous amount to tow it to my house when compared with other tow company's. They also wouldn't let any other tow company's onto the yard to collect MY vehicle that had essentially been impounded. (GHL are mother !%@#$&@#) It still worked out cheaper to get another tow company to take it back to my house. I didn't see much money at all out of the whole deal.
Anywho. I now find myself looking for a new chassis, as this one is really too far gone with delightful issues caused both by the thieves as well as the cursed rust that plagues us all at some point. however there are a lot of really good bits in it that i want to swap into a new chassis. What better place to look for an MR2 than in this fantastic crowd of Car Nuts!
So if anyone knows of a AW11 from any year with a solid chassis, don't mind if it is totally stripped and not even rolling, i would be interested in purchasing your scraps
Cheers all
Hope you having enough fun in your 2's to make up for me missing out.
P.S does anyone know if there is someone around Epsom with a white AW11 MR2? have seen it a couple of times on my way to a from work and gets me excited to see every time!

I've seen this for sale in the past. He was trying to get $5k odd from memory. What sort of front bumper is on it? Interested to know. Looks like a celica or supra one?

Just drove past your car parked up in Epsom!
Didn't get a good look at the bumper sorry but it looks pretty tidy man!
I live not far from there so PM me if you want to shoot round sometime and swop notes!

Yeah undecided about that front bumper. Wonder what prompted someone to do that. I'm a bit of a "traditionalist" so prefer the factory bumper but hey its a little bit different and doesnt look too bad I guess.
