They're increasingly becoming harder to put a value on, some insurance companies would only give me some ridiculously low agreed value when I called around, still not happy with what I got now tbh.

Doesn't sound too bad to me but you can always try getting more!

Sounds pretty good for an insurance company..
In my experience there is quite a big difference between the price sellers are asking for and what they actually end up selling for.

Hard to say really. Depends on the condition of it, kms, etc. I paid exactly the same amount for mine only 4mths ago. Mine has high kms, and was a little rough at the time.

Alright. Just got an independent evaluation that got it to $5000. Now just to start squeezing for what will actually pay for the car re-build. We'll get there!

I'm with NAC and queried the "market value" too
Still it's not bad for an insurence company

Where did you get your valuation done if you don't mind me asking? I was considering having one done as well.

My payout works out to $1490.40 and my wrecked AW11... $%^& you NAC that is not even enough to buy a N/A auto AW11.

Pretty unhappy with this all aye. I didn't even crash the car, am in no way to blame, and still with full insurance pretty much end up just not having to pay for the towing cost. This will not even cover the cost to replace the stolen steering wheel and seats. As well as this the car is de-reged and will be almost impossible to pass a registration certification again. What are you supposed to do though?

Sweet FA money returned and a ruined chassis.

This took 2 months from getting road worthy to heading back to the scrappy. Take care of your cars guys, insurance won't help you one bit if it goes walkies without you at the wheel.

I'm seriously rethinking my insurence now! It was only 300 more for full over 3rd party fire n theft with NAC, I'm thinking 300 will buy a half decent rife and some free cameras from work will serve me better then a piss poor excuse of 1400 bucks. What where their "deductions"??
