Haha! I changed it because my leg would hit the original every time I used the clutch. The in-out part doesn't work on mine.
My in-out part works just fine :D

I think what I'll do is just save up for a new aftermarket wheel, probably a momo or similar – the polish does clean up the fading nicely though, although the leather is worn enough that it'll fall apart eventually anyways. On another note, the previous owner clearly had good taste, as evidenced by this sticker :D

The heavy rain revealed some leaks in the T-tops, so I've since done the glad wrap and silicone method to stop it any further. Just from looking around, that's probably the best long-term temporary solution for fixing the leaks right? I'll get around to checking the window height tomorrow evening, but we'll see :D

I'm having a hell of a time trying to take the fill and drain plugs off the gearbox, I can't believe how tight on they are. I'm gonna have to blast the bolts with some bolt unseizer and probably use a hammer. It makes me wonder wether the gearbox oil's ever been replaced.

It's probably been replaced once and the mechanic did them up really tight. That's my guess.

Before trying a hammer maybe try using a 3/8 wrench with an extension thing like a piece of pipe on it to add torque. I used the bar from my jack which worked well on my sump plug. A hammer may do more damage? I assume that you're changing your gearbox oil? Good luck, I want to do mine too.

The hammer is used to 'shock' the bolt so that it's easier to undo. Usually one or two blows is enough. This works well on rusty bolts. It's not used in a traditional sense where you just smash on it like on a nail.

Use a 6 point socket too. 12 points can easily ruin these bolts. If you already didn't know, 6 points put force on the flat parts of the bolt head while 12 points put force on the corners of the bolt head.

I found that out after a short while after using a 12 point – It tends to slip under too much pressure. I'm soaking the bolts in pb blaster, will try again with a breaker bar on tues before last resorting to the hammer.

^^ That's good advice, I wouldn't know as I've only owned a 1/2 drive socket set.

Very good to know. Also get quality tools too. I use cheapo Repco stuff but worth a look looking at a quality brand like King Tony/Teng Tools etc.

I would recommend Bahco, their 94 piece socket set is in the $200 - $300 range, and it comes with metric and imperial sockets, plus screwdriver heads and hex heads, and a set of spanners up to 19mm. This is the set that I've done most of my engine swaps with.

Bahco is a pretty trustworthy brand too, I've bought quite a few tools from them for car related activities. I managed to get the bolts off with much struggling and swearing using a 365mm 1/2 drive breaker bar. It was non-ratcheting, so finding the right position took the longest time! I refilled the box (Which took around 2.5L) with Penrite semi-synthetic 75W-90, and will probably make the swap to Redline MTF next change.
