Did a small road trip with Baden and his Mr-s.
Went up to New Plymouth and had a photo op at Patea's old freezing works. Closed in 1982.Also visited the Holden car Museum at hillsborugh.
Didnt get any photos, but well worth a detour. Over 40 Holdens on display, a real trip down memory lane.
Following day we drove the Surf highway back to Hawera. Excellent drive with very little traffic.
Hit Levin at 3:30pm enough said.

Doubt you drove back to Hawea as that would be a long detour.

Started the day in New Plymouth, drove the surf highway thru to Hawea and then onto Wellington.
