Re: Zimmo's 1991 2GRFE project
Iv'e only just set up a run-in tune to 250hp. On my 3VZFE turbo. I'm using a TD05-20G as I am looking for the same thing massive low down torque. And not so worried about the big HP number. I can tell you that this set up, turbo starts boosting at 2000rpm and is full boost at 3000rpm. Even with set up only at 250hp the torque is 300ft/lbs at 3000rpm. cant wait to see what its like when I turn it up. Will probably end up being around 350 - 400HP for a consistent track day car

Is your turbo going to be facing that way? Would it be easier to plumb if turned 180?

Re: Zimmo's 1991 2GRFE project
As the intercooler is located in the boot I'm most likely going to run the piping down but it's a work in progress. Just going to put a filter directly off the turbo as well, lots of heat shielding is getting done.

Good size A2W core up front. Will have no problems keeping that beast cold especially with the WI added into the mix.

Re: Zimmo's 1991 2GRFE project
I'm hoping so, also with a 30 litre tank of coolant it should keep the charged air cool.
Limiting factors for mysetup is the injectors (650cc at 60psi) and then the intercooler then the GT3540.
