Re: First MR2 - Widebody 3VZ SW
After not updating this in a long time I've come to realise that almost everything on the very first post has reached completion.
Currently in the process of paint. The next step is to boost it I guess

Managed to fix the alternator not charging issue. Just a couple new pics to post and update this with. Now just have to finish putting in some interior luxuries for driving comfort

Re: First MR2 - Widebody 3VZ SW
Love your thread.
I would sell mine for a V6 widebody, so a bit jealous here...
I wish you'd touched up the body kit fitment before painting though. (just for that "mint" look)
And I liked your white wheels. Are you going back to those? Or sticking with black?

Re: First MR2 - Widebody 3VZ SW
Trust me, it's complete night and day with the body kit after painting. I got those white buddyclubs painted at the same time - it's a Anthracite grey from Alfa which has a lot of different layers to it in the right light.CJ wrote:Love your thread.

Almost too scared of stone chipping it to drive now haha
Next steps:
Lower Springs and Shocks
Fit GT wing OR find TRD wing and fit
Fit seats
Thinking of making a arduino driven LCD display to plug into the ECU instead of gauges
Upgrading speakers in the car for those long trips
Unfortunately will probably sit stagnant while I'm away with work.

Re: First MR2 - Widebody 3VZ SW
Sooo....
Have made little to no progress on this thing mainly because I've been away with work for so long....
Things I have done though:
Bought a M122 Eaton Supercharger
Started designing an adaptor plate to mount said supercharger
Upgraded to some Siemens Pico 850CC injectors
MLS headgaskets
More to come......
