I did something similar with boost gauge within the clock position, temp gauges in glove box and then finially when an EMS was installed put all onto the 7” touchscreen.

I would like to do the same with the touch screen but I'm not sure it will work, do you do it via Bluetooth or video input?

Mine is a direct USB to serial connection although BT can work. Rather than simply a display it is an interface to EMS and can datalog and transfer files via wifi to Dropbox.

Really depends on what you replace the ECU with and how much time & money you have. Some systems integrate quite easily while others are an expensive chore. I have tried to put everything on the one screen including EMS, tyre pressure monitoring, music, navigation, etc.

A couple pice of the ride height for anyone interested after the eibach pro kit springs after loosening and torqing the control arms at correct height. Photos taken at top of wheel level, second to last one at eye height.

Took the car for a semi spirited run through vinegar Hill on sunday to see how the new springs feel, ride is defiantly harsher and steering feels a bit less direct than before, however it has not had an alignment since I replaced the springs and I'm confident that will solve that. Stay tuned

So just went on its first dyno yesterday to check the health of the engine after the swap and glad to report it is throwing out the right numbers and the air to fuel was spot on the whole run. I got 173hp at the hubs and estimated 192 at the fly. Not bad for an old v6. So now its time to decide what to do with the v6, wether it be turbo or build na and keep the s54 to keep it as light as possible. Hmm decisions.

Time for rear brakes and shocks, thanks to reuban from bnt for hooking the club members up on this, 4x kyb excel g shocks and bump stop kits, 2x rear discs and znoelli sp500 rear pads to match the front.

All the shocks, brakes and new boots/bumpstops are all in and my old ones were leaking but couldn't tell as it was under the retaining nut. Car drives much better now and I'm happy with how it currently is performing. Gave it a good clean and came up very well indeed.
