That's my plug socket nearly covered in oil

Hmmm.

Im no longer going to drop the engine for winter and work though my large list. Instead stage the jobs. Stage #1 fix (or reduce) the oil leaks before Hampton Downs!
Obviously my spark plug tube seals need to be replaced! As well as the dizzy O-ring. Cam cover seals. And the sump gasket. As well as fix up some leaking oil lines.
I will also replace the dizzy cap, rotor and maybe leads. I'm happy with the platinum plugs I found though! Bonus!!

Decided to treat the big ol donk with not just new seals....

Got it all put back together, including some new interior goodies.

Started it up, blasted out the cobwebs. But a proper thrash and shake down prior to Hampton downs will have to wait for another day

Yeah Candy Red powder coat. Getting some more parts coated ATM also

Nice one! i think i read mr2 mentioned on 3 different occasions in that issue. One of my goals is to get my car in there, will be a big effort on my part to get it worthy enough lol (cover page would be nice lol)

Finally did something about my interior that was bugging me. Faded black bucket seats just didn't work with the 80s blue vinyl interior. But I did like the feel of the seats.....

Today I almost learned that a 3VZ-FE "cranked a fair whack more torque" than a 3sgte. Which it doesn't. In fact it isn't even close.
