Re: SKDZ-EZ V6 ADub
I've been pretty slack at updating this thread sorry.
But I've done some stuff....
Including finally cleaning the thing!
And flush fitting wheels. Tweaking the adjustable suspension. Who knew it could corner faster with some messing around!!

Re: SKDZ-EZ V6 ADub
So this could be why she missed a beat here and there on the latest club run to Awhitu...
Obviously my spark plug tube seals need to be replaced! As well as the dizzy O-ring. Cam cover seals. And the sump gasket. As well as fix up some leaking oil lines.
I will also replace the dizzy cap, rotor and maybe leads. I'm happy with the platinum plugs I found though! Bonus!!
Im no longer going to drop the engine for winter and work though my large list. Instead stage the jobs. Stage #1 fix (or reduce) the oil leaks before Hampton Downs! Re: SKDZ-EZ V6 ADub
Decided to treat the big ol donk with not just new seals....
Got it all put back together, including some new interior goodies.
Started it up, blasted out the cobwebs. But a proper thrash and shake down prior to Hampton downs will have to wait for another day '89 AW11 V6 Turbo (350BHP & 380Ft/lbs!)

Re: SKDZ-EZ V6 ADub
Finally did something about my interior that was bugging me. Faded black bucket seats just didn't work with the 80s blue vinyl interior. But I did like the feel of the seats.....
Reupolstered And it cost less than new seats (that still would have been black anyway)

Ahh Performance Car.
Today I almost learned that a 3VZ-FE "cranked a fair whack more torque" than a 3sgte. Which it doesn't. In fact it isn't even close.
