Black Hornet - New Stable Mate for Green Hornet
In the weekend my son and I just scored the Mr2 Sw20 that was on trade me which had the partial V6 conversion. I think it just got all a bit too hard for the guy. Got it for a steal.
So this car is for my son and its likely we will just get it up and running first up, but our plans are to supercharge this one compared with the turbo that Ive just done on the Green Hornet. No real reason only to do something different. The black hornet is likely to be more of a street set up so we like the idea of supercharging and just sounding way cool.
Photos are not very good but I;ll put some better ones up later.

100+ MR2OCNZ runs and counting... When going hard, good rubber's your best protection against unwanted accidents. Buy good tyres!
When you're nearing the end of the drag-strip and you have no 'chute, you may as well keep your foot to the floor... Live life. There ain't no second pass.

The Hornet's Nest, yep I like that term so I'm gonna adopt that. Thanks Mike!
I thought it might have been the Hornets nest when the wife returned home to find another Mr2 had just moved in. Surprisingly she was pretty cool about it all. I think she knows that we are Mr2 Mad and there is no stopping us!

We are hoping to have the Black Hornet ready for the Chrome Event at Hampton Downs in early August. The Green Hornet is definitely going so it can attend to some unfinished business!
