I just lubed them up and torqued them back up. Changed the oil, ready for another 100,000ks Toyota life! :D

I needed a blowout, so last night I grabbed a red wine, some loud music and worked on my car into the night.
Cleaned up the gearbox...

Dropped that tank and installed the new fuel pump. Also removed the NA harnesses.

Of course while the engine is out you have to detail the engine bay.... (BlackRat style!)

I think those #2 bearings are just a new custom one off design of oil thrower!! :lol: :lol:

Any idea what the temp gauge was reading when it stopped?

Haha. Coolant temp was normal. Oil temp, unsure, no gauge. The more I think about it, the more I think it just choked on the smoke?

Or just a hot seize in the bore and when it cooled down, away it went again. Not the first time I've seen that happen....
