It slipped in easier then oem. :D
Its like that with my V6. Seems quicker and easier to remove and install than stock! Pretty sure its just cause all the extra crap is removed and in the bin.

That's a great looking boot install. I am still not fully committed to a cooling set up yet (apart from one that works), I do love my boot space, however it just looks that great... who needs boot space anyway, it's overrated, better to make like an MR-S and have no boot...

Ive got the Frunk, and on long trips i only need a backpack.

Thats a decent intercooler running 2 x 12 slim line fans underneith which turn on when the Iat temp reaches a predesired temp. Also running Meth to bring the temperatures down.

not looking to run e85 as id like to do long distance trips and having to find e85 isnt on my wish list. i also wont be hitting the track and not after max Hp

E85 is definitely a race/track thing isn't it, can't see the benefits when it's already hard enough to use eveything a turbo can give you on NZ roads

Even 98 is hard to get throughout the country. Even tripping from city to city can mean you need to take a supply with you if the car is modded and likes to drink fuel.

After the Christchurch earthquake we lost 98 for 3 years. That’s why I installed water injection.

There is 98 but not everywhere. The NPD 100 is only in Christchurch and Queenstown. The meth injection is the key if you can carry enough but just plain water will control detonation. Best to have your tune sorted for both or run an auto tune programs like I did during trip up North.

I’m thinking that the only stations I looked up with 100 octane were those that we’re maned because I had vouchers to use. All the others must be automated. That’s good to know, thanks Al.

Awesome project. Great to see the progress. What parts did you get from ats vs nz if you don't mind me asking? In particular the engine components, just pistons?
