Re: 2YODA 5sgte Build
Manifold certainly looks like it will do the job. Time will tell with quality of flanges & welds.
On the FP use the stock hanger but be prepared to mod the pump mounts and wiring. Biggest restriction is in the hardline from tank to filter. I went with a larger AN supply from this point to filter to reduce head loss but also make easier to pull pump if required.

I am wanting to change those lines for that reason, which is why i was wondering if people use pump hangers that are made with an fitting.Benckj wrote:Manifold certainly looks like it will do the job. Time will tell with quality of flanges & welds.

Soara manifolds are made for a wide range of applications and he is building a good name for himself.

Re: 2YODA 5sgte Build
Sooooooo Little Update,
Engine is still at the machine shop.
partly my fault...
Purchased a D1 Racing 3sgte flywheel with intent.of running a single disc clutch but since been.convinced a twin disc setup is better for my build..
So i reached out to Barry at Mrp to make a Quartermaster 7.25 Clutch and flywheel setup for my desired power level.
Which has just been delivered to the shop so the rotating assembly can be balanced.
While this happens ive ordered a couple bearings for.my E153 so i can install my MFactory Lsd.
Sanding and Priming the engine bay for paint.
Intake Manifold is enroute from the Ukraine.
Have painted an Assembled 2 of 4 Blitz 03s.
and theres a Ton still left to do.
Full tune early.march is the goal so im good for toyota fest 2020 end of.march

Re: 2YODA 5sgte Build
So Motor is Back from Taylor Automotive,
Head is on and torqued down with the Arp 625+ Head Studs,
Gate Racing belt installed and the timing components.
i found the stock oil pickup and baffle lines up with the holes from the balancer off the 5sfe.
juat have to drill the holes out to m10 and it all bolts down. picture attached

Re: 2YODA 5sgte Build
Is there enough room on the firewall side of the engine for that manifold?

Re: 2YODA 5sgte Build
Was thinking the same. At very least the WG will need to be positioned somewhere else. It’s surprising how large they are.Alsw20 wrote:Is there enough room on the firewall side of the engine for that manifold?

Re: 2YODA 5sgte Build
Itll Fit, will be tight. have test fitted the manifold on another car. the wastegate i have for it is a scarles one.and its too.wide so.it just hits the firewall, ill be switching to a turbo smart option.as they are skinnier
that will solve the problem.
ive also removed the factory deading and tin heat shields in favour of lava matt. so thatll save some room.
