I'll make one up from the cardboard template if I still have it and send you the dimensions unless I can get my old CAD drawing.
I think I made mine from 6mm mild steel. Stainless costs more and at 6mm, rust will not be an issue. Mine ware well coated in paint then I went a little crazy and coated that in fish oil spray.

yea, i cant find any templates online.
If you have something, mint. Otherwise might see how hard it is to make one up.
I sent my car in to get welded up. Person that did it mis-read the measurements for the re-inforcement brackets.
Felt they werent going to work. Instead, decided to weld up the cracks and then just weld his version of the bracket onto the frame of the car.
It works just not what i was going for, and also dont get to see if the bracket design would work for other people too which i was keen on.
I will have to get a set of the brackets made up when i have some time off and try them on someone elses car.
Not ideal but should fix the issue. If a plate is welded like that it should go over the chassis rail on each side. This then keeps the member rigid in all directions.

yup....not what i asked for. One of my pet hates is trades people making it up as they go rather than asking for clarification....
But, the bolts now go through about 10mm of steel, so they should hold well.
That's no good. You probably already know this but the issue is the thin metal at the mounting point and the pulling force the bar bracket has just rips the chassis steel down so adding the extra thick plate onto the surface doesn't really achieve much.
I'd be as grumpy as you that both the bracket was made wrong and the fix was done incorrectly. Even the bracket only helps distribute forces to another part of the car where what Jim suggests is probably the best solution.

As long as you're right CJ. If you've any doubt maybe get a second opinion? Your safety is at stake eh mate. I do hope it turns out to be a decent fix though.
Very much looking forward to seeing your SWeet ride back on the road. And hopefully in time for the Christmas run...
But be sure it's safe is the main thing.
