Thanks for the responses. To be safe I'm going to drop in my spare gearbox I picked up which is non lsd ready for Clubfest. Not totally sure of condition of it, its mean to be good. That will then give me a chance to get my lsd box rebuilt ready for Chrome Expression Event at Hampton Downs on 3 - 5th August. Other than the box starting to whine it shifts "sweet as" so dont want to risk any damage to it.
I hear you can still use your lsd axles in a non lsd box. Is anyone doing that or knows for sure that you can?

Can confirm they'll work. The LSD axles just have the splines cut out further down from the gearbox end

I’d just check the shoulder of axle where oil seal rides. Axle may not seal if it protrudes out further than lip.
