Alternator options

Post by vrtigo »

My AW has a charging issue. Im in the process of tracking it down, but suspect the alternator. I do have a spare which is known good, but Im wondering about upgrades. Are there any other 80's Toyotas that have an alternator with output higher than 80A that bolt right up to the 4AGE?

Seems like the 1G-FE from the Altezza fits with some tweaks.
