I had 225/50R16s on my last turbo when I bought it. They don't look the best because the sidewalls are a bit balloon like but they fit.

225/50R16 will fit. They are slightly larger than the 245/40R17 a lot of us run. They will make the car feel slower than what you currently have but the grip of an RE003 vs what you have will make it so much better. Plus the sidewall stiffness will make handling way more responsive and confidence inspiraing.
